No kidding! Just when you think someone is "safe"

I liked how he set things up with them using an old trick and lulling (at least me) into thinking things would be just fine and then WHAM.

Such an excellent, brutal, gruesome, awesome, thrilling book. Always the first read off the stack when it comes out and I'm a HUGE superhero fan, but this gets read first, and almost always with good reason.

This was such a shock and quite the cliffhanger. Will be interesting to see what happens from here (as always).

To be fair, Pratchett's come a long way since "Men at Arms" and "Guards! Guards!". There are more than 30 Discworld titles now.
