Rough (adjective) Riders (noun). Riders who happen to be rough, you see.
Totally different.
I fully want my new CFL team to be the Rough Riders, and I will be unhappy otherwise.

I thought I heard that Halifax is getting a team.
As for the two Roughriders teams. When the CFL was formed it was formed out of two different leagues. Saskatchewan Roughriders were in one league and the Ottawa Rough Riders were in a different league.
They have been saying that Halifax was going to get a team since I moved there originally back in 1979. I will believe when I see it happen.
(There have been some pretty big names attached to this over the years including Marc Levy at one point.)
The problem has always been that Montreal does not have a stadium. You could play where the Huskies play but that might fit 15, 000. It would be a tight squeeze though.

The Sugar Bowl's tie-in, the SEC is an At-large as it hosts the championship game. The Orange Bowl can take the ACC or Big East champion, it is not required to take both.
