The decision is in and Bill Simmons has decided he will remain a Clippers season ticketholder. He made the announcement on Sportsnation and it did not even take one hour to get an answer.
A great day for Clippers fan. The Clippers is the perfect place for Simmons.

He didn't lose too much steam the year the Clips made the conference semis. If anything, it actually challenged him to take a different angle on the Clips. And as a writer, he'd probably thrive on the challenge.

The odds of this were pretty long even before they hired Del Negro to coach. Simmons will be writing anti-Clippers columns for years to come.
The primary point of him having the season tickets is so he can watch the games live and make opinions on players, refs, benches, etc. that he couldn't on TV. There hasn't been a lot of Clippers-centric material the last few years.

But the Clipper-centric tweets have been GOLD!

(Tee hee, LeBron to the Hawks, that's a good one!) From what non-Hawks fans know of Joe Johnson, this probably looks like the most idiotic, most undeserved contract of all the big name free agents.
