http://www.ctpost.com/news/article/WWE-fan-in-hot-water-after-death-threats-472869.php

A wrestling fan believed to be "mentally unstable?" No way!

He wanted to take a machine gun to Titan Tower and blow WWE HQ up all because they fired Mickie James.

Throw the book at him.

Did You Know: In April, our fans wanted to blow up our headquarters more than MLB, the NFL, the NBA and the NHL combined.

When Judge William Wenzel told Peygumbari he could not contact WWE employees, go near its Stamford offices, or attend their events, Peygumbari's response elicited chuckles from the courtroom.

"I'm not allowed to go to wrestling shows?" he asked.

I imagine a voice cracking with despair and shock.

Since he can't go to WWE events anymore, TNA should make a play for him. THey need all the viewers that they can get.

This combined with the old lady slapping CM Punk at a house show and telling him he's "not Jesus" make me laugh.

It also makes me glad I'm a (mostly) sane wrestling fan.

Godspeed, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Infantry, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, Wisconsin Army National Guard! Victory in Iraq!

This is what happens when RAW's theme song includes the lyrics "...burn it to the ground tonight."

I blame Nickelback.

I do think certain kinds of music can make you burn things. Like when I listen to Nickelback I want to burn Nickelback.

Not to totally derail this thread but I actually enjoyed Dark Horse. But then again I'm in the minority that actually likes Nickelback.

Maybe he was listening to "Thorn in your Eye" or some Motorhead.

Or maybe the Deacon is to blame,

In Seriousness is this the first time a fan has been banned from attending WWE events? It even states in the article that people in the courtroom were chuckling. I hope he gets help.

I hope he gets help, too. What's up with people making high-profile terrorist threats in wrestling recently? It wasn't too long ago we were talking about Jim Cornette threatening to kill Vince Russo.

I don't get the Nickelback hate at all.
Is it because they write catchy songs and have mainstream success therefore making them sellouts?
I'm not seeing what makes them soooo much worse than any other rock band out there.

It's because their songs are not fun to listen to.

Thank the Fates that Cena, Triple H, Taker, and the like are all independent contractors! Take that, Judge! XD

"It's a testament to the WWE that they get people so psyched up in the story lines," Sherman said.

---

I wonder if this is his defence attorney failing to grasp that Mickie James is a real person who's been fired, if he's just speaking more generally about how great pro wrestling is, or if he's trying to play down the real life element so that the guy seems more naïve crazy rather than an actual terrorist crazy.

Which would be interesting enough, since Rob Hoffman never had anything to do with RoH. I wonder how he'd feel to be mistaken for Feinstein?
