This is not an April Fool's Day gag! Some time in the next four hours we'll disappear, and then reappear with a new IP address. You might have to do without for .... oh, an hour? 15 minutes? Depends on your DNS.
Our current IP address is: 198.145.142.92 Our new IP address will be: 38.103.167.132
I don't know if that will help you if your DNS points to the wrong place, but it'll give you something to ping in the meantime. (Provided you print this out or write it down or something, because obviously you won't be able to read this message AFTER we move if you don't know the new address yet...)
Usually, we tell you this stuff a little more in advance, but them's the breaks. Go look at some dumbass April Fool's Day pranks or something. MERRY APRIL
As usual, the hardest part was trying to convince the Network Solutions guy that a glue record was something that I COULDN'T change using their Website.
Q: How do you know when the glue record has changed? A: All the spam starts coming back in
Also, I don't think Adam's name server is working!
I'm pretty sure I made a thread about this last night. Odd.
Here's the strange thing - only the network connection changed. We really shouldn't be any faster because we weren't using that much bandwidth before. We're still on the same server I bought a year or so ago.
Huh. I'm not complaining - it does seem faster to me as well.

Maybe we're "sharing" with less people on the new segment? I'm not noticing any difference, but I'm also behind a few firewalls so I'm probably kinda rate-limited as it is. We'll see when I get home.
I thought this site had fell victim to that computer worm that was suppose to crash the net today. Good to see the site back. Nice and Fast too! Good work CRZ!
Back to "normal" - Googlebot nabbed the megaclick on another ghost town Sunday. "Closest" on either side were texasranger9 (-77) and Matt Tracker (+30). Recent millions (and how long it took to get there): 101 30 Nov 2014 14:42:
