Just a question for everyone out there. Does anyone have any predictions as to what the WWE could possibly be doing with Jeff Hardy? I mean, they can't possibly be pushing him into a title situation. So, why have him feuding with the Undertaker. If they are trying to individually give him a push, why not have him attacking someone that he may actually eventually have a chance to defeat. I thought the original Lesnar idea was great, and I hoped that eventually, one of the Hardyz would give him his first defeat (at least by pinfall). I don't know what to make of this.
And on a side note, I didn't tape the show, and it happened so fast that I damned near missed it, does anyone know what exactly Jeff said when he ran into the Regal/Chris sketch outside the arena?

I think the idea is that Jeff`s trying to be "extreme" again after the Hardyz have sorta been in a rut for the past 6 months. So they`re taking "stupid risks" like attacking the Taker or wrestling the Big Slow, and basically just running around being weird.

I think the big issue here is that Taker is a lame duck champ and they just need to come up with something for him to do between now and the PPV. So it's probably mostly the Random Feud Machine. Hopefully, on top of that, they also have an idea to revamp the Hardyz, but I wouldn't necessarily count on that.
So, whether it was "Blank" or "Fate", it really made very little sense, and is just supposed to show the insaneness (is that a word?) of Jeff. Great! I got it all figured out now!

He could roam around backstage at every show, randomly interrupting promos and Kanyon-Cutting people... wait, that's been done.

Okay, maybe if it's "Fate remains unfilled," they're setting him up for an alliance with...DUM DUM DUM...Raven. Raven's been wrestling with "FATE" written on his chest for a couple of weeks and on Heat, he said "Fate has brought me here. I will not be held accountable for my actions" or something like that. Jeff and Raven would be cool, methinks. [/speculation]

I'll go along with this. I've always liked Raven's character and overall ring psychology in ECW was just spectacular. He reminded me a lot of Jake Roberts. I've always been a little bit disappointed with how the WWE has used him. He and Jeff would make a fantastic duo in the WWE, if it was written correctly.
Just one question remains, then. What would happen to Matt. Unless he would be taking some time off so that he could be with Lita...

Maybe they´ve commited to giving Raven the mic time and long-term angles his character needs to get over. However, I always thought the flock/nest idea was kind of lame, and made him somewhat Jackyl-like (read shitty).
I think Raven's always acknowledged Jake as one of his inspirations. Hell, he uses a DDT finisher. Raven's a looong time favorite of mine (Oh how I fought to keep him World champ against my roommates on WCW Revenge...), and it'd be great to have him kind of mentoring crazy Matt 'n' Jeff.
I don't really see it exactly as a full-blown feud with Taker. With the split, Taker doesn't have anything to do on RAW, what with his rivalry being with HHH at the moment. Feuding with Dreamer and then with the Hardy's are sort of mini-feuds, little storylines to give him something to do on RAW that's entertaining. While the bucket full o' vomit was horrible, the Hardy's stuff has been neat. Hell, I couldn't believe they got the upper hand on 'im.
Boy, Matt's horrible on the mic, though, isn't he? That accent...my God...

Is it just me, or does he always emphasize the wrong word? I remember the last time he was on Smackdown, talking to Chris Jericho. "Nobody wants to be a HAS-BEEN." It was like he thought the line was really funny or something, so he made it EXTRA LOUD.
I'm very confused as to why they're having Jeff Hardy mini-feud with Taker, myself.
At least I was, and then it dawned on me... Triple H wins at KotR (come on, is there anyone who doubts that?) Then Undertaker has a built-in “make a little guy my bitch” feud to make him feel better about having to job to Trip's worthless ass.
Man, my last few posts have been very negative, haven't they... if they'd stop giving me material, I swear I'd stop bitching.
“What's so great about crack?” “Uh, uh, it enhances your personality.” “Yes, but what if you're an asshole?”
The more I think about it, the more I'm enjoying Wacko Jeff. Watching his in-ring stunts proves that he's either certifiable, on crystal meth or both -- so why not act like it? Random attacks and inexplicable quotes... well, there are a lot worse role models than the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight, aren't there?
Start to worry if his hair turns red and he starts giggling and playing with matches, though.

I can't see Lesnar forfeiting. It just doesn't make sense for a "monster heel" to forfeit something they've built up to be "supposedly" as big as the world title.
