I've been in the beta of this for a while, and I'm excited to see it go live.

I think Hulu is the best of the video streaming services I've used. Joost really doesn't compare to it, Hulu is much better.

I hope everything stays ad supported.

What is this ... Hulu?

Perhaps, if you had a link of some sort to share with us...!

(It's the NBC-Universal/News Corp. joint venture what aims to put YouTube out of business by providing "good" content - well, content that originally aired on NBC/FOX networks, at least. Many viewers, no revenue. www.hulu.com)

I've also had the beta for a couple months and...I've barely touched it.

It's also worth noting that they're adding Warner Bros. content and (the somewhat vaguely phrased) sports. Source: Gizmodo.

I'm going to post more tomorrow after I'm sure I'm not covered by some sort of NDA I accidentally agreed to :)

Ive watched all of season 3 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on hulu so far. They have a great selection with decent quality. I'm sure I'd have watched more stuff on it too if I hadn't already seen it on other, shadier sites.

Movies too! They seem to have their shit together as well, because they took two of the greatest movies of all time, and put them front and center leading off their comedy and drama segments.

I've been loving the Hulu beta for a couple months now, but if Warner Bros. is legit jumping on board then they need to give me my West Wing fix because those DVD boxsets are too. damn. much.

I also appreciate the Picket Fences love, but we need seasons two and three already. They can keep season four.

Thanks for the Murder One, though!

I agree. I stopped watching it a little after Aaron Sorkin quit - mostly because the forced impression of his writing style was just too grating to handle. But I heard it got really good again at the end, and, oddly enough, the presidential candidates played by Alan Alda and Jimmy Smits were supposed based on John McCain and Barack Obama respectively.

Not only that, but they were both writers, along with Louis C.K., Dave Chappelle, Robert Smigel and Charlie Fucking Kaufman. Seriously, that's about as solid of a pedigree as you can get.

Are you serious? All they need is Teen Angel and You Wish and the old crappy TGIF lineup will be set!

There is some serious CRAP going on here.

Did you know that we, in Canada, are not granted access to WWE Heat on WWE.com? Nor, to see Big and Rich's videos on Youtube?

Or this brilliant website?

What the hell is wrong with this?

Other rights holders possess Canadian (and other foreign) rights to the programs and allowing access to Hulu would infringe on those, opening up eight billion lawsuits. Apparently filtering rights by program by IP location is too tough for them.

Feh, that explains it. A dang shame too cos there's some plenty cool stuff on there. I fear the sorts of money they'd need to reach agreement with Sky for a lot of those shows are probably going to make streaming for a UK audience unlikely for the forseeable.

I admire their concept/business model way too much to try and engineer any sort of 'grey area' work round though.

Gutted am I, but a very cool site.
