Anyone have a online resource where I can find a catalog of every single WWF Coliseum video ever made, and better yet some sort of price guide? I saw some on ebay, and some of the prices are incredible; $70 for a mint condition Hart Foundation video?
Also, does anyone know the logic behing WHY they released a Highlights of Wrestlemania 1 video? Why would someone want to rent "highlights" when the whole video is right next to it on the shelf at the video store?
I used to work at a video store (an idie one) and they had all the Coliseum home videos i believe (just a fuckin bunch). My boss was a Mark Mcguire fan, and I had the Mark rookie card from Donruss. He made me a deal; trade his the card for ALL the wrestling video's in the store. So i did it. Ive been going down the ones I have and looking them up on ebay to gauge thier value...looks like I have a small fortune on my hands.
Id love to know how many of each were made (like the best of wwf series), and if there was second pressings. I havent found shit on the internet regarding this. Surely someone here must have some lead?
Now I wouldn't do this for just any WWE video release, but considering that the Coliseum Videos ARE out of print you may want to try t0rr3nts. But remember, stealing is illegal and stuff so that's why I won't name any sites by name.
I dont want to download torrents, what gave you that idea? If you look at my post, im saying I have bascially all the WWF Coliseum videos, and I just to get info on pressing/value. But thanks for the info anyway ;)
Most likely, the "WrestleMania Highlights" was priced to own (20 bucks), while the "WrestleMania" video was priced to rent (40 bucks to own, or 2 bucks to rent).
With that out of the way, let me say: I am hope you finded them videoses!! I even find price guide!!
I thought you were fucking around about the laserdisc, but it got me curious and I looked it up...turns out WWF released 4 laserdiscs: Best of the WWF vol.1 Wrestlemania Hulkamania Bloopers Bleeps and Body Slams
I checked ebay, but none are listed. From a collectors standpoint, I would love to own any of these regardless of whether or not I have a laserdics player.
CRZ, how much would it take you to part ways with it?
No way, no wrestling video is worth $7k. Ive seen it on ebay ranging from $3.00 to $40.00 depending on condition. From what ive been able to gather these are the rarest Coliseum Video's:
Hart Foundation Demolition Brains Behind the Brawn British Bulldogs and Macho Madness (an autographed one by Randy has gone for $200 on ebay)
