I've grown to miss the Kerwin White gimmick. Heck, it's a step up from the entire Eddie/Vickie thing they were doing on Smackdown. Of course, Kerwin was a pretty dumb gimmick.
I've also grown to miss Waylon Mercy and Damien DeMento, as well. Those two were characters, in every sense of the word.
My question to the W continuum...what wrestlecrap-ish gimmicks do you all miss?
I've seen ONE movie so far this year: Borat - (5*)
I miss the real Undertaker. Sure the "Dead Man" has been back for a while, but, well... he isn't the same. Ever since the Bikertaker, Sara tattoo and the Jim Ross label "Booker Red", I have a hard time seeing him as the "Dead Man" anymore.
Do I still mark out for him? Sure, but it's different.
I loved Perry Saturn and Moppy. I even went to a Smackdown taping during that era (the one where Kurt Angle won the WCW Title from Booker T) with a sign I spent hours making - a big cartoon Saturn holding Moppy and dancing with about a dozen anthromorphic bunny rabbits under a big red YOU'RE WELCOME. And then Perry only appeared in a backstage segment, so I never really got a chance to use it.
Also: the Al Wilson saga was the absolute high point of the WWE's post brand-split era. Everything about it was gold - the insanely bad acting, the batshit plot twists, Al Wilson taking a shower in his suit (and getting married in his underpants), Michael Cole and Tazz just rolling with how incredibly stupid it was and, of course, roving backstage reporter and #1 Announcer Funaki.
On a similar note, I'm the biggest Mae Young fan in the world. Not only do they come up with the best terrible storylines for her, she is far and away the worst actress in wrestling history. (And in an industry that's included Stacy Keibler, Sable and Chyna, that's an incredible accomplishment.) Best thing about Mae Young: when she talks, she just moves her arms randomly, regardless of whatever words she might be saying. And she also emphasizes random words and syllables while she's at it, like a geriatric Christopher Walken.
The Zombie hands down. From his walk to the ring, his heart felt promo work, and the authentic dust from beyond the grave that flew off him when he was hit he was gold.

I gotta agree here and say ECW missed the boat BIG TIME with the Zombie. He would have been perfect for ECW and easily could have worked his way up from novelty gimick to crowd favorite. I would lvoe to see them bring him back.
And see the dirt fly off him when he got hit was an awesome sight.
...that motherfucker is always spiked with pain.....
He had an interview segment with Tylene Buck (Major Gunns) that was one of the all-time greats.

To pay tribute to the late great John Tenta..."Shark ATTACK! Shark ATTACK!" Considering the recent rash of actual shark attacks to you think they would've pulled him from TV if it would've been around now? Just like they did with "The Hurricane" Gregory Helms.

Jeff Jarrett's awesome Twitter pic got me thinking. Does anyone else have any strange, weird, disturbing, and or awesome pictures that have a wrestling related person in them? I have a few that I've saved.
