Pieman is pretty quiet after Theodore's performance on Saturday, as he should be...

Hopefully the Habs can close it out at home tonight...

Always love it when the underdog pulls it out.

I'm not a fan of either team (my Rangers have been playing golf for two weeks already) but I say Drop the puck now - I can't wait until 7pm - I am loving this series - Theodore has been incredible

what made McLaren's hit dirty was the elbow - he had the position to step in with a clean shoulder and he went for what was basically - as Jim Ross might say - the "Elbow from Hell" - the first meeting between these two teams will be real interesting next year - shades of the first regular season Avs-Red Wings meeting after the Lemieux/Draper incident

I am always quiet on the weekend because I have three kids to chase around. Now I am at work and can goof off.

Theodore was outstanding on Saturday. No question about it. Two shots off the post will help too. Stumpel had him beat with a couple minutes to go and clanged it off the post.

But during this series Theodore has been very beatable. He has given up big leads of 3-0 three times in five games. He will be beaten again tonight. Mark my words. And if he's not, I will be here tomorrow praising his play.

Allons-y les Canadiens!

Congrats Montreal! And now, a second-round match with Carolina, not too shabby.

Whoever wins out of Toronto-NYI now will face Ottawa. No rest either. Game 7 is Tuesday night, and Game 1 against the Sens is Thursday night. Doesn't look good for whoever survives that battle.

On the other side, both teams are so physical that I can see them running Lalime a whole lot. To steal a phrase from another organization,

What a great series from 2 great franchises.

Boston has questions to answer in the offseason.

The Habs move on to face the TOP SEED REMAINING IN THE EAST, THE CAROLINA HURRICANES.

Carolina, the top seed? What is going on in this world?

This entire thing we're involved with called the world is an opportunity to exhibit how exciting alienation can be. Life is a matter of a miracle that is collected over time by moments flabbergasted to be in each others' presence. The world is an exam, to see if we can rise into the direct experiences. Our eyesight is here as a test, to see if we can see beyond it. Matter is here as a test for our curiosity. Doubt is here as an exam for our vitality.

I don't appreciate the Habs knocking the Caps out of contention, but man, what a great run. The Caps put huge pressure on them, but the Habs answered tit for tat--very impressive. I would be a very very nervous 1 seed.

Here I am on Tuesday AM to praise the goaltending abilities of Jose Theodore. He was outstanding once again. Congrats to the Habs.

Now, as for the last two games - how do you go nearly 120 minutes without having a penalty called against you? What kind of refereeing is that?

And how about the save Theodore makes by throwing the stick behind his back? Penalty shot should have been called.

And what's with Darren Pang? Is he Theodore's agent or just his boyfriend?

Great game and great series - Thornton's penalty was undisciplined and it was the difference last night - Theodore stood on his head the last two games - let's bring on the 2nd round - it's fun to watch hockey again after having to watch my Rangers this year

I'm in a playoff hockey pool, and there's NO WAY I'm picking anyone from Carolina or Montreal this round. They may go 6 or 7, but there's gonna be low scoring all the way through. Lalime vs. Weekes/Irbe is gonna be interesting.

I'm sticking by my team, but I have a REAL bad feeling considering the Habs play lately.

Last time I checked, Lalime was the Sens' goalie, and the Sens play the winner of the Leafs/Isles game tonight.

Vegas has spoken as well. Detroit is a 7-1 favorite. So all you Whalercane fans can make some money if you really think they have a shot. I, for one, do not.
