When a show has Smurf knife fights you know it's gonna be memorable. I watched it, and it's just great. Though time will tell whether or not it's jokes will soon run dry.

Great bits-

Captain Hero keeps wanting a 12 year old and mule top walk through the front door.

Ling-Ling, with the subtitles and everything and subsequent mauling of Toots.

The Foxxy Brown and Princess duet, "I'm totally Frenchin' a racist ho!" Heh.

What were other people's perspectives?

I thought it was pretty boring. I felt like any chance the show had to be funny was torpedoed by giving away the whole first episode in the commercials. Of course, I thought the new South Park was pretty sub-par as well so maybe it was just an off night for me.

I liked it. Yes, they gave alot away in the commercials, but the near epileptic montage at the end of stuff to come did too and it's really out there...

The song made the episode for me. The pig does zero for me, though. So far he's a one-trick pony and it's not even a good one.

Toots' deal with cutting herself along with the smurf knife fight really puts this into the deepest of left field.

As for South Park, I must find either a video clip or just the audio of P Diddy's "Vote or Die" song!

For comparison, my wife sat through South Park (and it took her years to actually watch one long enough to appreciate it) and chuckled. She walked out within a couple minutes of Drawn Together and has zero interest in seeing another minute of it.

Anyone know when either of these two episodes are going to be re-aired? With the World Series going on, I completely spaced out and forgot to set my VCR ...

The Disney-song knockoff was an absolute howl. I don't know how many times they can pull that off before it'll get old, though.

I'd have liked Ling-Ling better WITHOUT subtitles, though Clara's misinterpreting its gibberish as sage advice was cute.

It wasn't BAD, but the premise could've been handled better.

It was OK. My favorite part was:

Foxxy (in the confessional): "I was so mad, I couldn't stop doing this (head bob & hand waving) for 3 hours!"

(Foxxy stops talking, keeps doing it)

(Next scene, she walks into the room still doing it)

The wife and I enjoyed. She felt it will last till next week or be on forever. I laughed through the entire show. I did like South Park with the Puffy Daddy moments, but their whole its always going to be a douche or a turd sandwhich kinda throw it off for me. I do believe this election is important, but damn if I didn't laugh at the Turd Sandwich sign that looked like the W/Chenney signs. The debate was funny too, but I just didn't think it was that good.

Just one question (finally caught the replay) ... Is the gay video game dude supposed to be a caricature of Link from the old "Legend of Zelda" cartoon?

What gave it away was when he played the flute to summon a tornado ...

He's supposed to be just a caricature of your typical lead character in an RPG. So he'll have certain elements that will remind you of Link, or any number of effeminate lead characters in the Final Fantasy franchise.

The show itself just didn't catch with me. Every single character is a one-note joke, and I got bored with all of them about halfway through the episode. None of it seemed clever to me, and even the concept of parodying something that's been parodied to death (even if not in a half-hour animated installment) already seems tired.

Or it just plain didn't click with me. I don't know.

It felt like they were throwing too much into the episode. True, they had to introduce all the characters at once, but it still seemed like "just a bunch of stuff that happened."

I'll give it another chance, though.

I caught the episode that aired last Wednesday. Ended up only half watching it because I was playing games on the computer and think hey isn't that the next cartoon "Reality Show". I think I'm going to give it a second shot too. I sorta liked what I heard and watched of it.

After seeing the commercials I really thought this show could be something special. However, the first show left me flat. As others already pointed out, the characters all seem like one-trick ponys. The stuff between Clara and Foxxy was pretty funny, but as a whole, I just didn't get into the show. A dissapointment (for me, at least).

I missed the first ep, but I saw the second and it absolutely had be cracking up. Love the premise, love the running gags (the Pikachu-alike constantly harping on the others not doing the dishes? Classic!). Funniest thing I've seen in a while. I'll be watching from here on in.

I too only watched the second episode. While the Pikachu-like creature having to do the dishes was funny, the overall storyline (Princess Clara having a monster that resides in her vagina...I shit you not, that was the storyline) was just not funny.

Add to that the very out of line joke about Christianity, and I will be staying far away from this show from now on.

BUT...the South Park episode about "Wall-Mart" was awesome satire.

RORY: So, is this party Grandma's having going to be a big deal?
LORELAI: Not really. The government will close that day. Flags will fly at half-mast. Barbra Streisand will give her final concert...again.
RORY: Uh-huh.
LORELAI: Now, the Pope has previous plans, but he's trying to get out of them. However, Elvis and Jim Morrison are coming and they're bringing chips.

I got a huge kick out of the Drawn Together episode. I was laying on my side and literally fell off the couch when the princess got kicked down the stairs in the Escher painting. My wife hated the few minutes she saw of the first episode but conceded that this was a great scene.

The Bachelor/Shrek parody was well played too. The only thing that seemed so overdone that it stopped being funny was the complete overkill on the kissing at the beginning. About half of that scene would have been more effective.

As for South Park, while my wife and I both liked the episode, it just didn't get to the level of laugh out loud that I almost always get with South Park (which means anything outside of Terrence and Phillip). The ending was dead on with the mom-and-pop store growing huge. Good stuff, but they've done many better episodes.

I thought the first episode was hit or miss. I chuckled a few times with the 2nd episode. But the last one had me laughing my ass off. It was so out there and offensive. My wife dismissed the show 3 minutes into the first episode. But she walked by while Ling Ling was singing his slave song and damn near died. I hope they can keep the pace.

Don't have many bad things to say about week 3. Spanky was definitely a riot, especially when confronted by the child workers.

"What are you Chineseseses gonna do?"

Something about seeing the pig get his in the end was very entertaining.

I went into it with no expectations and came away entertained. This was a very Chow heavy film. It was more action than comedy, but Alan had some really funny moments. 21% on Rotten Tomatoes seems pretty low. It's not that bad.
