I totally missed that a new "season" had started until I caught part of the episode last night because usually there's a thread started here before the new season starts. You can see who's playing http://www.bravotv.com/Celebrity_Poker_Showdown/Players/ (here.)

Note: that two weeks have already aired and that page contains "spoilers" on who won those weeks, so if you're going to try and catch the reruns of the first two weeks, you probably don't want to go there.

Chevy Chase is coming up in week 4 and Dave Navarro is back in week 5.

Imagine the possibilities:

A championship round featuring

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read

Matthew Perry
Dennis Rodman
Macauley Culkin
Chevy Chase
Dave Navarro

Now we know what they do all day at Promises.

I'm tired as hell of Dave Foley, but it's still an entertaining show. It helps that they always seem to have someone funny on. Or Kathy Griffin.

And Phil Gordon's sage advice has thus far netted me about $15 in my incredibly low stakes game.

What, no Michael Ian Black this time around?

I didn't realize the show switched to Sundays, I'll have to set my VCR.

DJ, I don't know if you mean low limit hold 'em games, or low no limit buy ins. Gordon's advice is more appropriate for the later. It's also better for tournaments as opposed to ring games.

We play low buy in (usually $20), no limit, and play tournament style. Friendly game.

Lots of fun action.

The producers must have been overjoyed to have Rodman for a second show.

I've got to say...It's a dirty, dirty secret that I watch celebrity blackjack. Not nearly so entertaining, but I like me some blackjack.

Needs more Doubling Down?

At your recommendation, I just read a summary of the plot of Pygmalion and I think that will be perfect. Thanks a lot.
