This was a very entertaining piece that was done on the champ. It was nice to get to see some old footage of him from the WCW & ECW days. I had forgotten how skinny he had gotten during his WCW run.

But yes, this was a great story that showed how a man overcame his demons to rise to the top.

Say what you will about Vince, but thank God he gives second chances.

I must say that this was one of the better pieces WWE has put together, and that covers a lot of ground. Really excellent story, and put together very nicely. I can't wait for them to put this out on DVD.

The answer to WWE's financial problems...

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that the UPN special will be included on the Eddie Guerrero double-disc DVD set that comes out in September.

I miss the mullet. Look quickly at one point, and you can see Scott Steiner while he still looked like a human being. Thought they would go the whole show without mentioning Art Barr. Wishful thinking on my part to hope that Malenko being part of the group that led to the firing of Eddie leads to Dean having a comeback feud against him.

Guerrero out for revenge against Malenko for ... telling people he had a drug problem and needed help. What in the world.

Makes more sense than a feud originating due to the spilling of coffee. And, like I said, its wishful thinking that something could be used to lead to Guerrero/Malenko One More Time. Better that for a quickie feud than Bob Holly or The Dudley.

I dunno, does it? Plus Eddie wasn't fired until his DUI in November. Malenko was talking about when he was sent home in May. I realize all you were saying is you want to see another Malenko/Guerrero match but I just thought that was an odd way of going about it.

Anyhoo, it was a really great production and fantastic story! Latino Heat means Boy Heat.

Blasted DirecTV...no UPN here, so I missed out on it..and it was one of the specials I had wanted to see, probably since the Stone Cold special UPN did last year. The only way'll I'll probably get to see it is watching it on WWE's fanatic series on PPV, if I want to spend 10 bucks to see it.

What did they say about Art Barr, exactly? Or was he just barely mentioned?

The only things they really mentioned were that Art was Eddy's partner; they were very successful together; that Eddy was using the frog splash first, but that Art coppped it, and named it as such because in Art's version, the frog mannerisms were more apparent; and that he passed away. I'm pretty sure that's it. Great to see the clips of American Love Machine, though...

PS - How freakin' cool would it be if Eddy brought those tights out for the GAB next month? The troops would eat that up!

the show itself was great but one complaint, I think alot of the music the WWE uses is HORRIBLE. I'ts just my opinion (which I know doesn't really count, especially around here) but Creed and all that other "Nu Metal" type stuff they use is just utter crap to me. I'm sure it hits with the target demographic and is being used fairly inexpensively but I just can't stand it.
The Hip Hop and Latino stuff was cool and should have been used more.

Does anyone remember the proposed names for that team? It was right around the time that WCW was about to take over the WWF (don't remember; how'd that turn out?) and Show was pestering McMahon to see which names he liked..
