Indeed, this has been a great playoff year. The Lightning & Flyers have fought tooth & nail, and the Flames & Sharks have as well. Tonight the Calgary Flames moved to within ONE WIN of the Stanley Cup Finals (their first appearance in the big dance since 1989, when they won). I can't wait until Wednesday night...the city will be a bloody ZOO.

Conference Final Games Remaining
Tuesday: Flyers @ Lightning [5:30pm MT; CBC/RDS, ESPN2]
Wednesday: Sharks @ Flames [7pm MT; CBC/RDS, ESPN]
Thursday: Lightning @ Flyers [5:30pm MT; TSN/RDS, ESPN2]
Friday: Game 7 of Western Final, if needed
Saturday: Game 7 of Eastern Final, if needed

THE NHL'S FINAL FOUR:
Western Conference Final: Calgary Flames & San Jose Sharks are tied 2-2 [Game 5: Monday]
Eastern Conference Final: Tampa Bay Lightning & Philadelphia Flyers are tied 2-2 [Game 5: Tuesday]

Get your sleep tonight and tomorrow night, Calgarians...and meet me after Wednesday's game at 17th in front of Melrose.

(I'll be the guy with the Flames cap on.)

I was at the Boston Pizza on Memorial Drive tonight. They have a promotion if Calgary shuts out the opposition, then beer is 50 cents for an hour after the game. With about two minutes left in the game, the entire place was chanting "50 CENTS". So much fun.

But since the road team always wins, don't you REALLY have to wait until Friday?

San Jose has got Calgary right where they want them for Game 6 - in Calgary.

I look for Tampa to jump on the Flyboyz early tonight - I wouldn't mind some OT as well

Ah come on dunkndollaz you gota go with the Fly guys tonight. Did you watch game 4? Tampa had no control at all and the way the Flyers D is playing it looks like Tampa has no shot. I like the Flyers tonight in a 4-1 game.

Tampa came out strong and lost control for about :38 seconds, which cost them 2 goals. There were a lot of penalty calls as well, several of which were seemingly out of nowhere. Either way, it was a good game tonight.

Was anyone else chuckling loudly at the sign held by a Tampa fan that pictured the Stanley Cup, wearing shades and all, getting a sun tan at a Florida beach? Pretty creative.

I thought that sign was hilariously creative. The Cup had a nice bronze look to it, under a sun umbrella, and the sign said "Stanley Needs A Tan."

Philly has to get to Khabibulin early in Game 6 and hope like hell that Esche doesn't decide to channel any Flyboyz goalie of the past other than Bernie Parent.

Wow that was a hell of an OT period that the Flyers just won.

This series definitely deserves the seven games it's getting.

heh...way to jinx it, jerk...that was almost as bad as Glenn Healy calling him Esche-manek during the intermission. I can't believe the Flyers pulled on out with Esche letting in so many bad goals. Hopefully they'll take a look at tonight's game and realize that when they're motivated (like in OT tonight) Tampa just can't hang with them and come out energized on Saturday.

I know along the beaches on Florida's east coast there are an abundance of roller hockey leagues too.
