I was just wondering about who would be the top 5 picks in the draft. I know Manning will probably be #1, and Fitzgerald may go #2, but I'm unsure after that. What do you think?

From reading some of the mock drafts around the web, Roethlisberger and Taylor (not necessarily in that order) would go #3 and #4. Not sure who'd be #5--Mike Williams? Robert Gallery?
1. SD - Manning 2. OAK - Fitzgerald 3. ARI - Roethlisberger 4. NYG - Gallery 5. WAS - Tommie Harris, DT, Oklahoma
Mel's draft was updated the other day. Pro Football Weekly's was done right before the Super Bowl and says:
1. SD - Manning 2. OAK - Roethlisberger 3. ARI - Harris 4. NYG - Gallery 5. WAS - Kellen Winslow Jr.
My favorite mock draft so far is this one by Duane Cross at SI.com, only because I can see Guru reading this and cursing out his monitor at the very thought.
1. ARI (via trade w/SD for swap of #1's and a #3 pick) - Fitzgerald 2. OAK - Manning 3. SD - Mike Williams, WR, USC 4. NYG - Gallery 5. HOU (via trade with WAS) - Taylor

I don't know what the hell Kiper is smoking. Green says he's going with McCown, and I believe him. It'd be silly to grab another QB if either Fitzgerald or Taylor (or Williams?) is still on the board.

Who is this Harris that PFW speaks of?

Here's Kiper's commentary:
Whether or not the Cardinals feel Josh McCown is an adequate QB, Roethlisberger has the potential to be special, and Arizona cannot afford to pass on an opportunity to upgrade the most important position in that way. Should the Cardinals not opt for a QB, look for them to go after a skill position player, perhaps a WR.
"Harris" is Tommie Harris from Oklahoma.

Ah. The Cards could take a DT, but I don't see Harris going that high in the draft. And Kiper is wrong. The Cardinals *can* afford to pass on Big Ben. I think that since '98 the league has proved that you cannot hinge your whole team on the QB, and that it's the quality of players around the QB that wins championships. There's no reason to replace McCown just because you have a high draft pick.
Boller's performance was absolutely horrific. The Browns 4-4-3 alignment worked well well to contain Jamal. In the meantime, there were two big plays on blown coverage that gave up a load of yards.
