Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him?
A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?"

i remember him saying that... what i meant was... isn't there usually a lot of posts about how cool this move was or this match... i dont see a lot of that.... i believe you guys can post that....
Umm, I know I'm supposed to suspend my disbelief, but do cinderblocks really explode into clouds of dust like that?
Why must Molly and Hurricane always be beaten? They're superheros! Hurricane should be the CruiserWeight Champ, not Tajiri. I don't see what's stopping Molly from becoming Womens Champion either, she's the best looking woman in the WWF.
Oh well, If one good thing came out of the WWF today it's the Kaientai shirt my cousin picked up for me at WWF NY earlier. INDEED! ^_^
The King: "Are you bilingual?" HHH: "I'm bi- a lot of things, but lingual's not one of them...Ummm, did I mean to say that?" JR: "Probably not, but we're live"
Well, I think I know why CRZ isn't smiling anymore. This was not that great of a Raw. I just don't understand why they are not starting to build towards Wrestlemania without some sorta push. I mean why is Jericho/Angle not the main event for Raw? Why is the WWF only showing five matches in two hours with little or no reason for them? Why are we subjected to another push of one of the new older guys, you can insert the NWO if you wish, instead of Edge or Storm? I just don't know where this is headed.
Of course, many people said that about Wrestlemania X-7 and it was the greatest Wrestlemania ever! So, I just don;t know. It could be a great event, but lousey build. I just don't know.
Well, Raw was official "ok" no more, maybe less. Angle Jericho was entertaining, except for the obvious missed ref spot, and the wacky ending. I mean does Kane gorilla pressing Angle into the ring hurt him that much? and then the beatdown is 2 rights and a clothesline? Uh, ok.
Austin-Hennig was nothing to write home about. Hennig showed lots of rust, The beatdown was good, especially the silent selling and walking away from JR and Lawler, but it's the classic "what next?" I mean, Rock's gone, Austin should be injured for a while, leaving HHH as the only big time face left. But, Austin will probably be back on Smackdown, walking around, and I will probably be pissed.
Hogan talking to a cardboard Rock was ok. Other than that, well, maybe next week.

I didn't think raw was that bad tonight. They seemed to be building towards their WM matches. Jericho/Triple H, Austin/Hall, Rock/Hogan, Flair/Undertaker, Kane/Kurt Angle, RVD/Regal, APA/Chuck And Billy. At least they aren't waiting until the very last minute before putting together some semblance of a card. It seems like it's going to be very top heavy this year though, not much room for the undercard guys. I was kinda hoping after Austin took the cinder block and JR and King left the announce table that the nWo was gonna beat the two of them up.
I thought it was a pretty good show, but I wasn't paying my full attention 'cause I had my hands full with stuff tonight.
I was really hoping the NWO would help Perfect get a win over Austin. Ah well. Ya can't have everything. And yes, the exploding cinderblock kinda killed the Austin attack for me. What I did like about the attack though was that JR and Lawler stopped doing commentary right after it. I think handling it that way helped more than hearing Ross yell about those 'NWO bastards' again. Silence can be very powerful sometimes.
That was a weird combo for the #1 IC contenders match. Good to see RVD go over, though. For a minute I was afraid that we would get Big Show/Regal at WM. I'd still like to see Goldust and Edge get in the mix, though (and I usually don't like triple threat or four corners title matches).
I liked the APA/Friendly Tap bit. The WWF always has the most unfunny transvestites, though. That guy tonight hitting on Bradshaw was only slightly less stupid than the transvestite on Heat a few weeks back with Angle. Isn't this the second time that Billy was in a fight with the APA at that bar? I think the New Age Outlaws and APA had a run in there before some PPV a while back.
Undertaker attack on Arn was cool. I'm still not too excited to see Undertaker/Flair, though. Just seems kinda pointless to me. At least it will be cool to see Flair get to wrestle in another Wrestlemania. He deserves more than just one.
Didn't get to see too much of the Jericho/Angle match, but the outcome was just as I expected- Kane run-in. It did the job, though. Even though Angle deserves a little better for WM, I think he and KAne will have a good, brutal match.
So overall, not too much to complain about ('cept that Mr. Perfect loss )

Well lets see. Why in the world was Mr. Perfect wrestling Austin? He isn't a main eventer. Keep him down there in the first hour. Gosh. Hall hit the freakin camera man with the blocks there at the end. I hope he gets workers comp money for that. The n.W.o. coming out at the beginning was just utterly boring and pointless. I wish they would actually do something with Kevin Nash. They've got Hall and Hogan in two story lines, and Nash is just sorta in the back ground doing nothing. Oh a high note we'll get to see what DDP and Christan will do. That should be at least a little bit interesting. During the Angle vs. Jericho match when Kane lifted angle up he couldn't even get him over the top rope. Kane needs to hit the gym and pump up some, and then come back and actually wrestle. When Michael Cole was waiting for Austin to walk down the hall to him, I kept on thinking, Kick him in the gut, give him a stunner and keep on walking to the ring to kick some ass. But no he had to talk to the darn moron. Anyway. The best part of tonight was probably HHH, Steph, and Jericho promo. Besides that the show basically sucked. Wow. I was even doing chores during this. At least that kept me entertained.
all blown up like that, i can actually see steph's nipple in the picture.
that was the dive-iest gay bar i've ever seen and i've seen some real dives. i'm happier they went with an unrealistic overblown stereotype though. i've been cringing during this good ole boys / gym bunnies feud so far. at least it wasn't outright offensive to me.
It's just you against the group mind. I like weiners.

Yes, but why oh why didn't Jericho show footage of when he actually, ya know, BEAT HHH for the WWF title after WM 2000??!?! When they got out of the limo with the tape I thought that was what they were going to do. I know the decision was reversed, so it "didn't happen," but it would be great to rub in HHH's face that he had to force a ref to overturn a loss to Jericho. And it might help to convince more people that Jericho really does have a chance to beat him at WM. I guess they don't want HHH to look bad. Well, at leat Jericho finally took credit for putting HHH on the shelf. It's better than nothing.

Press release aside, isn't this "honor" given to anyone with a modicum of fame, and the willingness to pony up the cash for (and attend) the ceremony? If you don't have something to plug when it happens, it's a pure ego stroke. Fun fact:
