I was jest wonderin' how/where y'all found all of yer spiffy little pitcher thingys there, or at least where you'd recommend somebody look for sumptin' suitably funky. And also, before you ask yes I AM very smashed, which explains my stupid attempt to write in a dialect of some sort, except I have just noticed that I'm NOT writing in it now, so..I dunno...Anyway I'd be interesting in hearing your answers/suggestions/abuse whatever.
First you find a pic suitable to your needs on the net. You can either steal one from another site, or you can make your own and upload it to your personal website, if you have one. If you're stealing it from another site, right-click on the image and select "Properties". See that url? Copy & Paste it into the "User picture" space on your "Edit profile" page here... at WEINERVILLE ((Cheap Pop))~! If you're using one from your own website, Copy & Paste the url of that image into the "User picture" space.
And that's it~! (Oh, and it's called an "Avatar". Dont ask me why.)

I put code in the database and PHP pages yesterday to hold whatever icon you use at the time of the post - much like EZ board did.
On posts from before yesterday, the current icon / avatar will be displayed. Posts from today forward will show only the icon that was in use at the time the post was made.
I'm not sure what happens yet if you didn't have an icon when you posted, but you add one later. It probably displays the current icon in that case.

Guru, I actually thought the perma-icons were pretty cool. Also, it looks like my headers function better now. Thanks for the tip.
