Or maybe they just have "odd number syndrome" keeping them from playing well every other game. Whatever the case, they gots to get moving before the Blues upset them.

Vancouver/St. Louis: 2-1 Blues. C'mon 'nucks, hussle.

Maybe it's because St. Louis is the better team.

Ditto!!!

I picked the Blues because they are a more complete team. Stop the one line in Vancouver and you should be able to beat them.

Right now the Canucks are frustrated by the Blues ability to block shots (they blocked 26 in game 3) and clog up the neutral zone. As a puck possession team, the 'Nucks haven't been able to penetrate the blueline when the Blues line up four across. Vancouver will have to do a better job with diagonal dump-ins and having the wide winger hitting the line with speed if they hope to recover more pucks deep. Right now Osgood and the last defender are simply getting too much time to handle the puck in the corner and chip it out off the glass or, worse yet, execute a planned breakout.

5 on 5 the Blues are killing the Canucks, and so Vancouver's only hope is that the powerplay gets going. Cloutier can only do so much to hold them in games...

I still have faith, though

Go Canucks!

My faith is wavering. The Canucks are faltering, about to lose the series, while the Mighty Ducks manage to utterly destroy the Wings in four games.

Things are getting pretty craziac.

I like the way you think. Detroit swept them in the regular season before the trade deadline, but the Avs of today are a completely different team from then. Not to mention Detroit's tendency to choke in the second round in recent years.
