Well, it's been some time since I've been able to babble about the hotness of the men in wrestling. Orton. He's always been easy on the eyes, no doubt, but even with the occasional tripping over words during his mic time, I find him sexier now that he isn't competing for my ogling with Trips. I guess it's the underdog thing, the young attitude, or it could just be the body, but still, I think he's come a long way the last few weeks and has emerged, it would seem, as a leader of all things anti-Evolution. I still don't think the RKO as a great finisher, but then the Worm caught on, and I can deliver a spear better than Edge, so I'll deal. What do you guys think? Eye Candy and that's it? Eye Candy with a decent finisher? Or this thread sucks, Orton sucks, and Raw needs to be watched with a few beers in ya to get through it.
Orton is definately eye candy. That said, I don't care as much about him when he's in hit ring attire. It's when he's wearing those suits that I'm more interested in him, go figure.
I'm with everyone else though... He still has a way to go to be with the big dogs, but with the WWE pushing the younger talent for the time being, he'll get better. I don't know if it was the crowd or because he was out there during an Evolution promo, but he seemed to be over in Iowa. I don't quite see where people say contrary.
I just look forward to him growing into a big name in the business because he has the potential... Now, if only he'd stop stammering during his promos as much. Oh! And 'The Pose' shouldn't be done every 10 minutes either. Someone on the main board also pointed that out.
Meg: Being a single mother is hard, but the real challenge is having a baby that's addicted to crack. Right Stewie?
Stewie: What's that? Oh yes, yes, I love crack. I'm absolutely cuckoo for crack.
I am still something like 2 weeks behind on wrestling -- that's what I get for having a life. However ...
Randy's coming along beautifully well! We've always known he's a pretty thing, but he's also developing some personality besides. Hunter & Ric took him to the excellent tailor & got him some proper wardrobe. (I would swear that there were a couple of times that Randy & Batista both had to borrow wardrobe from HHH.) He got some real confidence & maturity getting to hang out with the big dogs, & that's showing more all the time. And when hanging with the seriously big doggies, they can easily keep him from getting too arrogant about it, which is also a good thing. The boy is just still a baby (He's not even old enough to rent a car for himself yet, is he??), so there's plenty of time for him to evolve. I've thought all along that Randy is a serious, long-range investment for Vince, & I think that's working out very well.
Clothed, unclothed -- either way. :-) The Pose -- dunno, works for me -- just the right amount of "Aren't I beautiful?", & "I feel the need to make sure you know it.", & "You do know it, right??" It's cute now, & can also continue to be a simple trademark thing.
Now my with personal preference leaning toward a bit more muscle, I'm also very happy about Batista. I'm finding him increasingly yummy all the time!
If you were trained by Kowalski, I don't think gravy matches are in your future anyway. I guess the only time I was truly offended was during the whole Trish Stratus/Vince affair. Especially when she was made to bark like a dog.
