/Edit: Lookit how many underdog teams won today. Tampa Bay, KC, Pittsburgh... Not a good day to be favored, or to be starting a top tier pitcher, it seems.

The Yanks never open at home since it's too dammed cold here at this time of year(as the Mets found out today,) But I'll be at the Stadium next week for the home opener like I have for the past 4 years.
I was in the upper deck down the right field line of the lovely Qualcomm Stadium yesterday watching my Padres lose the first of 100 this season. And I'll be back there tonight, too.

Watch out for the Pirates... if the chips fall right, this could be a respectable 85 win team. Watching them thrash the Reds warmed my heart.
Best Practical Joke....Ever. From getting the Manager, GM, the media, the entire team, hell even his own agent involved...that is a classic. I was done watching it 5 minutes ago and am still laughing.
