This could've gone in Wrestling, but the main theme is hockey, so in here it goes.

Bret Hart makes his allegiance known for the Playoffs and refers back to an old enemy of his in his latest commentary.

My parting words to The Hulkster are: The Lightning will be excellently executed.

I enjoyed Bret's column last week when he talked about Jerome Iginla coming to see him when he had his stroke. It made me respect Iginla even more, if that was possible.

Jarome Iginla's probably the best player in the NHL. He's consistantly good on the ice, and the nicest guy in the world off the ice. He rules.

There's a good piece on Iginla in the new SI.

And, as I type this, he just scored.

Bret says "The Hulkster doesn't look right in blue. Perhaps I need to remind him the colours he wore as a wrestling champion were, of course, red and yellow"

That's actually pretty clever by the Hitman... And Canadian superstars from Jericho, to Benoit, to "The Edge" (ha) and Trish are all jumping on the sole Canadian team left, how typically Canadian! LoL

smark/net attack wienerville advisory stays at BLUE alert - Guarded (With Benoit & Eddie being World & WWE champions you'd expect all's be right but couldn't do it due to Trish/Y2J character switches & whats the deal with JBL PPV main event)- 5/6

Hockey and wrestling are a perfect combination as far as I'm concerned.

What really freaked me out, yet made me smile, was the Stanley Cup Finals (and mainly the Flames) getting a pop during the Belmont Stakes.

After seeing Canada-Czech Republic I have a little more faith in Canada, but beating the Fins who woke up after their beating by the USA will be hard. The Swedes should advance easily. Th US should do the same, though Germany might be a bit tougher.
