God damn am I pissed off about Marty Straka getting hurt. He misses an entire year out with a broken leg and a broken orbital bone, and now this s**t. God-d***ed, Czech people can't even keep one lousy little hockey player from hurting himself. Again. Can you tell I'm angry?
Other than that, did anybody else big go down this offseason? I'm hoping that every Red Wing except Lucky Luc (cuz you gotta respect someone) got run over by a car, but that probably didn't happen.
Sorry for the rant, I just get a little emotionally over-attached to my hockey.
The big problem for your Flames is not so much that they have to catch the Oil, but that they also have to leapfrog six other teams to do it. It seems pretty unlikely...Maybe its time to give the younger guys (Kobasew, Saprykin, Leopold etc.)
