I'm guessing the three-parter is what the direct-to-DVD movie was going to be.
Screw American Dad. I want to see the new Family Guy episodes RIGHT NOW! But no...for whatever reason we have to wait until JUNE 2005 to watch them and on Fox. I don't get why they can't just put the new episodes on Adult Swim, since that's where the show became successful, and that's where they gave Family Guy the respect it deserved. Even now when Fox showed reruns of Family Guy they edited and censored them.

Blame "wardrobe malfunctions" on that.
Fox is over the air and subject to fines. Cartoon Network is not.
I get the feeling that, since the show was produced before Janetgate, the Fox Standards and Practices people decided to edit everything. Hopefully the new episodes will be a little edgier, considering the Simpsons show asses all the time, and the word "bastard" is used, as well. Since Fox has to approve the stuff that goes into the new episodes, I'm going to guess that we won't see watered down "Family Guy". The editing was probably just a knee-jerk reaction to appease the PTC and others.
This is in no way meant to be a comprehensive nor, at times, possibly even coherent recap of Revolution since I stopped recapping it midseason. I did continue watching it out of some misguided sense of... I'm not sure what.
