I've been a fan since the beginning; I've ordered every single show (with the exception of the "best of" shows) since NWA TNA started. It's becoming increasingly tough to make it through a show these days.
The reason is the Insane Clown Posse.
I remember when a fast-paced X division match (like the one that started off tonight's show) would get "T-N-A!" chants and "Holy Shit!" chants. Now? Nothing but "I-C-P" chants.
I remember when AJ Styles could get the crowd chanting his name and eating out of his hand. Now he only gets "Juggalo" chants.
It's depressing to watch the PPV and see the wrestlers working hard while the crowd completely ignores them, amusing themselves by singing ICP songs.
I hate the ICP.

P.S. Wait -- are they REALLY going to try to get Vince Russo over as a FACE?!
I totally agree with you ... I was there live a couple of weeks ago and it was fucking annoying ... all of their fans chanting goddamn lyrics and shit ... I hope their tenure in TNA is coming to an end ...
We're going to get so much ass here... like boy band ass.
Like I said in my TNA recap, last night looked like a Juggalo Championshit Wrestling show. AJ Styles had to include the juggalos in his promo for a cheap pop (and the only pop he had all night, by the way). The crowd was dead last night....except for ICP.
And, yes, Vince Russo is back once again. It was predictable because we all knew he'd be back soon. Oh well, it's still better than having Erik Watts around.

Everything I say is a lie. Except that. And that. And that. And that. And that....And that.
***Man a lot of spots were blown last night. I know some partners and rivals out there are new combinations - but some of matches just didn't "click."
***Johnny Fairplay is certainly amusing. He might get tiring after a while, but right now he is new and fresh and certainly a dirtbag of a heel.
***Kid Kash trying to be sensitive was most amusing. I don't care for the ICP or the Juggalos, but Young's fear odf clowns is wonderful.
***Micheal Shane needs to follow the advice of Shakespeare: "To thine own self be true." If he truly had confidence in himself, he would not attempt to be a poor man's Shawn Micheals.
***Feuding management is so old they don't even remember a time when management was heard and not seen.
***Johnny Swinger needs depth. He must regret signing, or he wouldn't have looked like that. Poor Simon. Simon needs a hug.
I don't watch TNA much... but it seems like they are constantly relying on mystery partners/opponents/authority figures and swerves in order to keep the PPV buys up. It just doesn't make sense to constantly keep putting guys like Russo and Mike "Does anyone actually take me seriously?" Tenay out there as key storyline figures instead of keeping the likes of Raven, Styles, Harris, etc. on top? (don't answer that)

That was repulsive. The only way ANYONE could get any response to themselves was to reference the Juggalos. Fairplay did it, too.
They did respond more to the matches after ICP's match -- I dunno if that was because the other matches were more "main event-y" or if the Juggalos were just sated with their ICP fix -- or if most of them just LEFT after the ICP match, leaving the "regular" fans to chant and not be drowned out. Maybe putting ICP on first would help?

Well, yeah, but as a GOOD GUY? As -- get this -- MIKE TENAY's white knight? THAT'S just NUTBAR. That's totally counter to everything Russo's ever done up to this point. Maybe they're turning him next week (it seems like they'd HAVE to, since Russo's on-air presense is SO inherently dislikable).
LotusMegami -- I agree with your points -- the Jarrett/Harris match in particular didn't work particularly well. JJ, especially, looked very go-through-the-motions. And, as predicted by many, Dustin Rhodes - Goldust = boring. (It doesn't help that El Leon's not very interesting, either.)
I'm also enjoying Fairplay, although I dunno what he can do in the long run. Manager?
I like Simon & Swinger, but I'm not really interested in seeing them fight each other.
So I wonder if they play on brining in CW Anderson as Simon's partner since they are known as the Extreme Horsemen in another promotion (is it ROH?) ...
Kid Kash is one the few bright spots in TNA ... he's funny as hell and a damn good worker.
And what is with ICP again? Even their music isn't all that great ...
We're going to get so much ass here... like boy band ass.

Maybe they could come up with a ranking system like in boxing to determine the Top 10 wrestlers for the Undisputed title. They could use a BCS-type formula to determine those rankings.
