Someone I know who is overseas is thinking of installing NotMyIP so they can watch Hulu and similar services that are supposed to be US only. Has anyone used it? We'd like to know if it's effective and whether there are any safety issues or side effects from it. Googling didn't really turn up anything (there were ads for the program and such, but I couldn't find any disinterested user comments). Thanks for any help.
If it were a driver issue, you'd most likely still see the devices in the device manager with the little yellow-clad exclamation point and "Unknown Device".
