I figured I'd better operate out in the open with this one. asteroidboy can hopefully forgive me for becoming the example I chose in private that I probably wouldn't have made in public.

Not that I'm surprised, given past run-ins.

FAR too much posting of the same thing over the past two or three days. I would look at threads and there you are with three in the "every other post" spot. You posted EIGHT times in the GAB thread. I'm not big on people dominating the discussion to begin with, but you didn't bring anything NEAR enough to justify your participation in those threads. I wasn't real thrilled with the threads you were trying to add, either.

I don't mind you ignoring asteroidboy because he's just another user, but when moderators start saying "hey, look, maybe you need to take a step back here" it's EXTREMELY perilous to ignore that. Just because they're not coming out and saying "hey STUPID, maybe you need to SHUT UP" doesn't mean you should confuse their being gentle with their valid concerns. You can disagree with mods but abusing them is a piss poor way of making your point...especially when *I* AGREE with THEM. You already know how I feel, so I wasn't going to repeat myself if I didn't have to, but your last response to Justin was totally out of line and really pressed the issue. Telling a moderator to use the ignore button? Please.

It IS their job to tell you how many posts you've made, and you've been sitting near the top of the active users list (The W) since the PPV ended, but all you're doing is being needlessly contrarian...and doing so sometimes at 10-20 minute intervals. ENOUGH. Take a week off and cool out.

I don't necessarily mind "needlessly contrarian" since what's a wrestling message board without that guy(s), and it got TheCubsFan to look up numbers. But needlessly contrarian to anyone with the gall to criticize the product (exaggeration) is, like, hey man.

Especially when you pick THIS BOARD to do that, seeing as how the Wrestling folder is collectively one of the most accepting, forgiving, yo-let's-give-it-a-chancest places I've seen. Telling them to ease up is like a missionary working in the Bible Belt or something. So excardon them for having the gall to diss Smackdown, Bradshaw, poor Kenzo Suzuki, or anything Vince McMahon does. He owns a wrestling company you know!

(Note: paragraph 2 not necessarily directed at chill. paragraph 3 is!) Pubic Apologies (yes) to chill if pointing out the 18 posts in 2.5 days came off like I was trolling you. I was just trying to say that fighting the good fight to end smark communism might be biting off more than you can chew and might not be worth your/their/my/our time. Also, "put an ad in the newspaper as I tend to read that first thing in the morning when I wake up" was a good line.

I probably broke when I made a change yesterday "fixing" something else. I'll try to get to it later today and figure out what's up. EDIT: This should be fixed.
