	Nomar and Todd Walker both signed one year deals today, keepping the former BoSox middle infield connection together for at least one more year. You can find all the info about the contracts on the Cubs Website. http://www.cubs.com

	Happy about this - hope Nomar heals us well this year and Todd comes in to play left and Sammy gets his mind right. It could be a great year. Or, it could be like most years. Come on, what am I thinking? Last place. Now, is it ok for me yell THEATRE! in a crowded fire?

	Yeah...Walker's playing second. It'll be nice to have his wrong-handed bat in the lineup for a full complement of ABs. From what I could tell, the difference in his and Grudz' D wasn't that great to warrant Grudz getting all the PT at second after he came off the DL. Now all they need is a left fielder and a closer.

	That Todd won't be playing left either. He's best used as a backup, and he has a hard enough time staying healthy in that role as well.

I appreciate the vote of confidence. However, I don't think the Reds have finished over .500 this decade. Until they do, I won't bet on it. Just like the Cubs, on a larger scale.
