It's a few days late but I don't want to finish my concert review so whatever - and besides, there was some cool stuff in this one:

SWITCH
- Nintendo Switch Online starts Tuesday. Pay $20 US/year to play Switch games online and access NES games. Launch NES titles: Balloon Fight, Baseball, Donkey Kong, Double Dragon, Dr. Mario, Excitebike, Ghosts’n Goblins, Gradius, Ice Climber, Ice Hockey, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Pro Wrestling, River City Ransom (hi Cubs), Soccer, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Tecmo Bowl, Tennis, Yoshi
- If you have a Nintendo Switch Online account, you can also order wireless NES controllers for the Switch direct from Nintendo
- The original Katamari Damacy coming Winter 2018 as an HD remaster called Katamari Damacy Reroll - this makes me so happy
- Animal Crossing confirmed for 2019 after a teaser video meant to make you think it was imminent, but was instead announcing...
- ...Isabelle added as a playable character to Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Cities Skylines is coming to the Switch three days ago. So it's on the eShop now, is what I'm getting at
- Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle coming September 18; a collection of arcade games, including Final Fight, Captain Commando, King of Dragons, and 4 more. Would have been a day-1 purchase if it included Quiz & Dragons
- Yoshi's Crafted World coming Spring 2019
- Civilization VI coming November 16
- Luigi's Mansion 3 (working title) coming in 2019
- New Super Mario Bros. U (originally on Wii U) coming January 11 as New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe with new characters
- Splatoon 2 getting an update with a new map and weapons
- Mario Tennis Aces getting an update with new characters
- Pikachu and Eevee will be able to learn special techniques in Pokémon Let's Go - and if you don't have a Switch yet they're releasing special Switch bundles with a fancy design and the game (hi CRZ)
- There's also a new Switch bundle coming with the system, a download of Smash Bros. Ultimate, and a different fancy design. The bundle comes out November 2 and you get the download when the game launches on December 3
- Game Freak, the developers of Pokémon, are making a new RPG called Town
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, World of Final Fantasy Maxima, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy, Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy Final X/X-2 are all coming to Switch, with Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD out now
- You can use amiibo with Mega Man 11. Whee?

3DS
- Kirby's Epic Yarn (originally on Wii) is being re-released as Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn with new powerups and minigames and stuff
- Luigi's Mansion (originally on Gamecube) coming October 12
- Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (originally on DS) is coming on January 11, with Bowser Jr.'s Journey added

    - Animal Crossing confirmed for 2019

IT'S. ABOUT. TIME. I was continually amazed it never made it to the Wii U, as the dual screen set up would have been perfect for inventory/tool management. I don't have a 3DS, so I never got into New Leaf, so I can't wait for this to drop.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the come up with for the new one. Probably nothing earth-shattering, but then New Leaf was more of a refinement of previous versions than something entirely new anyway.

Wait, now I HAVE TO enroll in Nintendo's online service if I want to play AC with my AC friends? Is that their evil plan? Is that their sneaky way to get me to give them even more of my money? Don't they have enough of my money already?!?

I am so freaking tired of waiting for the remastered PS4 FFVII, so the plethora of Final Fantasy games is happy news.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is so much awesome! Wonder if the whole "Luigi is dead" thing ties into that?

Will they just keep adding old games to Switch Online, or will the 20 games rotate out? They can have $20 if I can have Excitebike forever.

Pretty sure the plan is to add more games, not to rotate them out. At least until the end of 2018, not sure what 2019 will bring.

Nine more will come out in the subsequent months. Solomon’s Key, NES Open Tournament Golf, Super Dodge Ball arrive in October, followed by Metroid, Mighty Bomb Jack, and TwinBee, a vertical-scrolling shoot ‘em up never previously released in North America, coming in November. Finally, Wario’s Woods, Ninja Gaiden, and Adventures of Lolo close out the year in December.

I logged into Mika's account to send you a friend request but you beat me to it.

I should mention that she has never held the Switch in her hands, much less played anything. For her, the Switch is an excuse to hog the TV since I don't need it since I can play the Switch anywhere. But this will surely change when Animal Crossing comes out. That and Untitled Goose Game.

Solomon's Key, NES Open Tournament Golf, and Super Dodge Ball got added to the Nintendo Switch Online NES library, along with an easier version of The Legend of Zelda where you start with a pile of cash and items.

EDIT: It's a save file within the existing Zelda game, not a whole new game

Well I think I'll put the Phoenix Wright games in the que along with some of the puzzle games, (I'm still on the fence about Animal Crossing since my friends have stopped playing it and I don't want to set up a WEP router.
