So Green Bay is bad enough to be 11th in the NFC, yet they are too good to get a top ten pick. Sounds like the worst of both worlds.

The scary thing is, they're about another two-game winning streak away from a playoff spot. Think the depleted Giants or Seahawks wouldn't kill for that matchup?

"That's the thing: Maybe he'll be up and down this season, but when he's up, is there another center in the league quite like him? He protects the rim, passes out of double teams, has great hands around the basket, up-fakes on his jump-hooks, rebounds in traffic, even has a motor that keeps going and going (unlike a stiff like Eddy Curry). I'm not sure what's missing here. This is stunning. This is startling. There's almost no precedent for it. Just what the Lakers needed: More obscenely good luck. Meanwhile, I have to watch Al Jefferson whip jump-hooks off the front of the rim for the third straight season. I will now pour scalding hot water down my pants."

I'm not sure what you mean by 'that matchup'. The Seahawks are scheduled to face the Packers in two weeks. (This week Green Bay draws New England.) If Seattle continues to manage as they have been, I can see the Packers at 4-7 before facing the Jets, 49ers, Lions, and Vikings. Then they face the Bears in the final week. Unless Chicago is resting its starters with nothing to play for, this team will be lucky to hit 8-8, which probably keeps them planted right in the middle of the draft.

You believe me, don't you?
Please believe what I just said...

The Seahawks should get Hasselbeck and Alexander back in the next week or two. They won't be quite so "depleted" after that.

The Packers would be closer to a playoff spot if they were better than 3-4 in conference games. They probably have to be 10-6 to get in, because if you assume they'll lose to the Bears that gives them a 7-5 conference record overall, and they probably won't win any tiebreakers at 9-7/6-6.

Holy fuck shit motherfucker shit. Read comics. Fuck shit shit fuck shit I sold out when I did my job. Fuck fuck fuck shit fuck. Sorry had to do it....

I hated the first two Star Wars flicks too. However "Revenge of the Shift" (yeah I said shift, it finally shifted to what old school fans needed to see) was not that bad (comparatively). It finally did what the other movies didn't. It was dark and entertaining with limited Jar Jar appearances.

Episode Three, on a storyline basis, overall did sell the first two movies of the new era to an extent (don't watch the first two). Were there flaws oh sure, oh yeah and oh sure again. But still better than X3 (for story line development) if that counts for anything (IMO).

Revenge of the Sith = one thumb up from me. Fuck shit. I want to tittie fuck your ass.

Feeley's in until he either loses, or Detmer's healthy enough to be the better alternative. Either way, who do you think is going to be the #2 next year?
