Nothing too radical in the appearance department. Really hoping that the show will be funny as it would be *great* to have another actually funny show to watch with my kids vs. more iCarly, Hannah, Suite Life, Wiz of Waverly Place etc. etc. etc.

Interesting that Speedy Gonzalez is there. His classic cartoons never show up on TV anymore. I wonder what types of cartoons he's going to be involved in with this new thing.

The animator says Marisol and Petunia are her personal favorites. Petunia is obviously the female pig, but I'm not familiar with Marisol. Is that the female duck?

It's strange in this day of gender equality that the only females included are basically female versions of Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, and Daffy Duck (I am also aware that Petunia Pig existed in the past, and we've had a female rabbit since "Space Jam"). It just feels like lip service to the idea of equality when your only female characters are gender swaps of male characters.

I'm still not entirely clear as to why they had to cancel Duck Dodgers, which was a perfectly funny show that won a good share of awards. I'd have rather taken a few more seasons of that as opposed to a Looney Tunes rehash.

But hey, if they've retained the old Duck Dodgers writing staff, the new series shouldn't have any problem being funny, at the very least.

Surprised to see the Monster as part of the main cast. Thought he'd be more of a guest star, a la Nasty Canasta or Witch Hazel.

Not much different, really. It would be nice if this had charm of the originals, which are still my all time favorite toons. I am afraid it will fall into the "you can't home again" category. Although, Tiny Tunes wasn't bad.

Pretty snazzy: Global TV here in Canada has the original Karate Kid movie streaming online for viewing, free of charge. There are other movies online, too. I have no idea if these videos work in the US. Perhaps someone can make mention?
