The only way this makes sense is if he best fits their wont to have a D-minded coach in the face of their shift in mentality over the last season.

Thus proving the Magoofs (amongst many other things) have never watched a Warriors game, ever. Oh, maybe they saw that time the Kings blew a massive lead and ended up losing to them - in fact, that's the only thing I can offer to explain this bizarre choice.
