Despite the fact that I have 277 titles to share with you this week (223 DVDs, 48 Blu-ray and 6 "digital"), this is a shockingly light week when it comes to releases of substance. Nonetheless, we forge onward.
Sorry I'm a little later than normal. I have many excuses!
(As always, titles in large italics represent this week's Top 24 preordered titles at the time this list was compiled early Sunday morning. Titles in BLUE are Blu-ray.)
PICK OF THE WEEK
Bob: The Complete Series (The W at Amazon) (CBS, 1992-3) Ooh! Bob Newhart's least successful, and probably now least known series - and it only took almost 20 years to get it on DVD! (Granted, they DID have to invent the format first...)

ANIME OF THE WEEK
I think it's a testament to just what slim pickings we have this week that FOUR of these titles made the current Top 24 preorders:
Believe me, I'm as surprised as you are that the top selling television title this Tuesday is... Regular Show: The Slack Pack (Cartoon Network, 2010-11?) 12 "random" episodes from the first two seasons, I think - list on the back cover at Amazon
TV MOVIES OF THE WEEK Zombie Apocalypse (Syfy, UK/USA, 2011) Ving Rhames, Taryn Manning - yep, you guessed it - The Asylum (theasylum.cc) The Witches of Oz (miniseries, Syfy, 2011) Paulie Rojas, Billy Boyd, Sean Astin, Ethan Embry, Mia Sara, Lance Henriksen, Christopher Lloyd Info on this DVD and trailer also available at Image
OTHER BRITISH TV OF THE WEEK Commander Set 2 (ITV, 2007-8) Series 4 & 5 - completing the run
"Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help." - Isaiah 58:7 (New Living Translation)
The Q&A was actually disappointing, but that was not at all the fault of the cast. The moderator they chose for the event was semi-clueless and had no idea how to handle the discussion. She kept asking serious questions about a comedy show.
