Ma Kent's line about Clark not owing the world anything is dead right in any Superman incarnation that is not this one. He destroyed Metropolis, he kinda owes humanity or at least the people of Metropolis. So, we continue with shitty advice given from a Kent.
I maybe wrong, but I don't think Bruce is seeing Sups/Zod. I am thinking Lex is controlling Clark or its the Zod clone. If he is watching Sups/Zod and didn't get involved then I have a big problem with that. Like a giant one.
A bit more Joker than I thought. Eisenberg Lex feels like a kid playing in his Dad's clothes. Its still feels political and dark. It looks better than the first trailer.

If they're looking to "The Dark Knight Returns" for inspiration for this story then its very likely that we are seeing a retired Bruce Wayne witnessing the events of Man of Steel. The events and the aftermath would lead him to putting the cowl back on.

Or we could assume it's a quick flashback to give emotional weight to a moment in the film no? I mean since neither of us have seen it of course (or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part)
