Ok, so on RAW we have the "World Tag Team Titles" and Smackdown has the "WWE Tag Team Titles".

This is my problem: The RAW belts are actually the ones with the whole lineage and they're lamely billed as "World Champs" while the SD belts were simply created and introduced last year and THEY get the "WWE Tag Champs" name.

The RAW belts have the whole history. Why can't they get the name as well?

There seems to be some rule in WWE that the RAW belts are World titles whereas the SmackDown belts are WWE titles. Don't know why.

I don't think it's anything to get upset about. It seems WWE has already decided that the SmackDown belts are more important then the RAW belts, anyway. I mean, which title got defended at WrestleMania, and which didn't?

Maybe it's a holdover from when they wanted two separate promotions. Raw was going to be World Championship Wrestling, so everyone wrestled for world championships.

MY gripe about the tag situation is that the brands never seemed to get behind them when they were the only belts available outside of the World and WWE championships.

There was a lot of potential there. If you wanted to be a champion, you had to find a partner. Make an alliance. It could have focused on two individuals and their issues instead of a regular old tag team like the Dudleys. They hinted at it for a while but I guess it was too difficult to write.

Correct me if I'm the only one, but on sigs like yours OMEGA, The horizontal length of your pictures screws the page up a little and you have to scroll to the right to read all of the text in the thread with the sig in it. I don't know if you understand, but if it happens to anyone else, you'd know what I mean....anyway yea.

I second that. Huge signatures suck, mang. Longer != better.

Okay. I've taken a picture down to shorten the length. Can anyone tell me how if you can reduce the size of a picture? That'd help.

So, how about them Tag Titles, eh?

hmmm...originally I was going to thank Omega for taking down his distracting "dancing" sig, but FurryHippie's got a good point. It's still too wide.

Sorry about all the hating, Omega. You usually make good points around here.

OMEGA: Much better now, thank you kindly.

To resize an image, open it up in any graphics program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. Resizing the image should take nothing more than selecting the whole image, then going to Image Properties or Image Resize. Look around, I'm sure you can figure it out.

And if you're using MS Paint, find a better graphics program. Seriously. :)

Also, there's a way in XP to resize things from a context menu... download the Resize Powertoy off the MS website.

As for the titles... who are the Raw champs anyway? Shows you what the situation is... or maybe just that I haven't been paying attention. I forgot who I saw walk down with a tag title on Raw. (hides head in shame)

The following post expresses the opinions of a raving Jerichoholic. He is biased, opinionated and bitter. You have been warned.

RVD and Kane are still the World Tag Team Champions. I hope that with the brands going to seperate Pay-Per-Views, the tag titles will get a bit more attention.

As of Monday, May 9 at 1:14 PM, the Boston Red Sox' Magic Number to clinch the AL East is 135. A combination of 135 Red Sox wins and New York Yankees losses will guarantee the AL East for the Boston Red Sox.

I'm still seeing it as too wide. What resolution are you guys at? I'm at 800 x 600, and I've got a horizontal scroll bar on my maximized IE window.

OMEGA, there's a way to shrink the size without doing anything to the pictures. It has to do with how you do the HTML.

<img src="http://whatever.com/image.jpg" width=w height=h> where w and h are the width and height that you want them to be, as measured in pixels. All those pictures are 240 x 180. So if you wanted to have all four (there were 4, right?), you would need to resize them to something like 160 x 120 for them to fit on a screen of 800 x 600.

EDIT: Messed up my numbers the first time.
EDIT2: Darn it, that stupid thing about editing when you enter special characters!

Thanks Mr. Boffo. I've gone back and edited all my posts, so everything should be fine now.

And the only paint program I have is some crappy version of paint-brush I got with Windows 98 five years ago, and I don't try anything on it, so don't expect any fancy looking sig from me.

You think the Tag Title situation is bad now? Think back to 2001 during the Invasion angle. I defy one person to tell me the lineage of the WWF and WCW Tag Titles during that angle. And don't just copy it from the PWI Almanac. I'm not stupid enough to fall for THAT one. I'm stupid, not that stupid.
