Excellent action and suspense. The action and story were easy to follow. I wonder how many more of these Tom Cruise has in him. That scene in the preview with the plane isn't even the craziest part.
Saw this Friday night, and was really impressed. My wife even enjoyed it, and she's not a big spy movie fan.
Edit to add: Also, it was GREAT to see Alec Baldwin playing a dramatic role again. Loved him on 30 Rock, but I think the world forgets he's a tremendous dramatic actor as well.
Baldwin was good, but a bit distracting because "Hey look! It's Alec Baldwin! And he looks and talks like Jack Donaghy!" At least he didn't call Cruise "Lemon".
I'm still trying to decide whether this or Ghost Protocol was better.
GP will always have that crazy Dubai Tower scene - one of the craziest action scenes ever filmed.
Took two of my boys - 11 and 10 - to see it today and we all loved it. Thought it was one of the better MI. Would have to go back and watch them all again to better rank them.
Life is hilariously cruel.
It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.
