I saw it happen last night. Fear not, for it is all just playing pretend.
Borash was fired too. So were Sarah and Tiny.
I've seen plenty of criticism about last night's TNA, but having seen RAW just two days earlier for comparison, I have not the heart to say a single negative word.
What is it with basing angles around announcers getting fired? Do they think we care THAT much about them? How about spending that time trying to get WRESTLERS over?
Well, a major difference is that TNA has been slow-building this development for months now, as Tenay has been Jarrett's chief detractor, and we won't see Tenay in the ring as the payoff. I'd wager that the return of Vinnie Ru as Director Of Authority is the payoff...

Offhand, the only guy I remember Meltzer firing was Zach, and I always thought it was a pretty amicable parting. Not saying it didn't happen, though. Like Bulldog I'm just saying I don't recall that particular name or a story about him.
