Maybe I'm late to the game and it's common knowledge, but I didn't know he died last week. I was a big fan of his Top Cow work (Witchblade and The Darkness) and really loved his art style because it is what I personally strove to do when before I gave up trying to be a cartoonist.

Yeah, he had been sick for some time. I read that Wizard article a year or two back after his relapse, and it was a hard read...he was talking about going to cons, but being too weak to stand. I was pulling for him. Shame that he's gone.

My grandfather was a die hard comics fan. He collected for years. I'm keeping his collection going for me to pass on to my kids. That and I'm a geek at heart. Where's the DC love, people? ...I know I've missed some. -DC- Action Comics - It's Superman!...
