Due to the projected path of Hurricane Ivan, the NFL has moved the game from Sunday to Saturday at 1 PM.

As a happy bonus, the game is not on TV anywhere outside of South Florida or the Nashville area, not even on Direct because CBS didn't want to screw with college football.
To sum up, the September of the Apcolypse has now taken from me two vacation timeframes and Opening Day for the Dolphins.
I'd say "Dear God, where does it END?" except that Ivan may or may not be pointed at my house.
Actually, a quick look at my NFL Sunday Ticket schedule says that the replay of the game will be shown at it's regular scheduled time on Sunday.
It's a good thing I have my DirecTV. Wonder what Guru would do.
Edit: The audio broadcast will be available on nfl.com too, if that helps, Blanket. Make sure you stay dry this weekend...

Actually, it isn't really CBS that is to blame for this one. Federal Law (yes, anyone who wonders if Congress has too much time on its hand, this is the case) prohibits the NFL from having a national broadcast on Friday or Saturday prior to mid December in order to prevent damage to high school or college football attendance. Thus, Dolphins/Titans can go into the local market, but not be broadcast nationally. Since DirectTv would be considered national, that means those who PAID MONEY to get this game in their package get screwed.

I think the Miami offense didn't get the memo that the game was on Saturday.
L. Gordon Att-12, Yds-32, Avg-2.7, Long-11. eww yeah I think they are going to miss Ricky... It took all of one half for Miami to have a full out QB controversy.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory is raised to ORANGE alert - High (Benoit lost the title to some punk kid named Orton, lets look at the positive at least it's a heel not named HHH who has the title, which allows two fresh faces battling for the World title.. whaat? excuse me? what happened on Raw! well scratch that... Over to Smackdown we wave at Justin Bradshaws title reign, I think I'm getting sea sick)- 8/22

I'll be doing that in 2 months, as well.

After watching the "highlights" of this game, I don't think anybody missed anything.m ;)
Jeno James - You've gone from three points from a SuperBowl ring, to trying like hell to make Lamar Gordon look good! I hope that extra money can soothe those wounds.

Yeah, I ended up reading that in the paper Saturday morning...although from what everyone's told me not only did I not miss anything, but I should be thankful I didn't let myself watch that case of anemia Miami calls an offense.
On the bright side, this may be one of the rare years where the Dolphins live up to and possibly far surpass expectations.

I've tried several times and I still don't get the reference and how the two are remotely similar. I want to get it. This is also the same way I feel about the trade.
