Voting for Joshua Gracin on American Idol is NOT a way to support our troops. This is really starting to piss me off.

So what happened? It's pretty simple. Ruben's fans knew he was good, knew he was safe and didn't feel to need to vote in large numbers. Complacency set in. Josh's fans, on the other hand, knew that he deserved to get removed and voted in large numbers to keep him around well past his expiration date. Pity anybody who actually believes that Josh is a better singer than Ruben.
I'm amazed no one hasn't suspected that maybe Josh was in the bottom 2, but the producers decided to put Ruben for more suspense and drama. I mean, why not? The public doesn't know the real numbers. Sure American Idol is already kicking asses in the ratings, but if someone wandered off, let's say to watch Dawson's Creek or Twilight Zone or whatever else is on Wednesdays, last night's bottom 2 would've definitely pulled them in and kept everyone else watching. It surely kept me watching. At 8:30, I was ready to switch to TechTV for X-Play.
I remember a point last season where Justin Guarini was placed in the bottom two, almost at the same point as last night's show with Ruben.
Either way, last night should also give the Ruben fans a kick in the butt to vote like mad next week if they really have been slacking.
