That's really the best way to put it at this point. I'm not sure what his deal is anymore, but I don't ever remember anyone's internet stock dropping so much.
As much as I beefed about him since he returned from his illness, I wish this wasn't the case. I wanted him to streamline while with the company. Maybe he'll be brought back after dropping the mass he put on during his Edge-related exile.
Maybe maybe maybe.

I'd express hopes that he gets himself back in shape, but at this point, I just want him to take some time off. He really needs it.
Well, he's already had a few weeks off from TV and travel, during which time, if you believe him, he's lost over 20 pounds, gotten in the best shape of his life, eaten bagfulls of grapes, gotten a haircut (has he?), and developed split personality disorder consisting of two Twitters and two YouTubes that argue with each other. If that's the way he's spending his down time, if anything, I think he should go back to work.

Perhaps instead of being the Jannetty to the Michaels of his brother, he is going to go all out and be the Ed Leslie to his brother's Hogan. As Zodiac v2.0, he can feud with EV2.0 over the use of v2.0 like in the days when Booker T lost the feud over the letter T.
Oh, yeah, the TLC, Hardys/Dudleys/E&C stuff didn't really start until the 2000s. My initial point still stands: Hardys/Dudleys wouldn't exactly be a fresh feud.

Seven year rule plus the Hardy's as the heel team would prevent it from being stale.

I want to feel the same, but knowing that most of the internet wants to see bad things happen to him... I kind of don't want to go against peer pressure.
-- Matt Hardy took to Twitter to comment on being officially released from his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment this afternoon, saying he "had to move on."
"Thank God! :) I swear.. It was harder for me to get released then it was to get hired! This is ABSOLUTELY what I want, now I can be me! I wanna thank WWE for giving me an opportunity, & I thank all the people & friends that helped me there. But I HAD to move on to be happy. I wanna thank JR, who hired me, Michael Hayes, who taught me SO much, & Vince, for letting me make a living & learn from him for 12 years. While some of you make look at this as an ending-I promise you, this is THE MUTHAF*CKING BEGINNING FOR MATT HARDY! Now I can create change!"
