Well here is the article that got him in more trouble.

The Honets org. not happy about the article told Mash his services are not longer needed in the playoffs. This goes back to the beginning of the season when Mash got injured he choose to rehab in Miami instead of N.O. Rumor also has it that Mash changed his e-mail and phone #'s so that coaches and players could not contact him.

I feel that Mash will either retire or play for another team. I do not see him returning to the Hornets.

Heh. Of course I'm not easily confused with a Hornets fan, but if I were them, I'd say “Thanks for the memories, Jamal, but don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.”

He's not as good as he once was, and he slows down the offense. And his teammates know once they give him the ball, their best chance of getting it back will be on a rebound. He never, ever passes the ball. And that shows a certain arrogance which is undeserved, considering he hasn't made a dent in the playoffs. Win a few playoff series and you deserve to be a little arrogant. Until then, you should shut up.

Trust me, the Hornets are better off without him. In fact, he ought to retire, because I can't think of a team that needs a ballhog like Mash. And hell... being a ballhog wouldn't be a bad thing if he could actually make some positive contributions. But he can't do that, either.

And for being a veteran, he certainly doesn't act like a leader.

Nah nah nah nah... nah nah nah nah... HEY HEY... goodbye...
