Did you remember to sign up for the resumption of the Marvel #1s giveaway? I got the email go-ahead and grabbed my comics. Not counting the couple of dozen I got last month before the servers crashed completely, which were the Marvel NOW #1s and mostly Avengers-related titles, I picked out 135 free comics. Restraint?

I really wouldn't bother reading the Spider-Island ones. Spidey is my favorite fictional character of all time, but that story was truly a piece of crap.
Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine #1 is the only good issue from that series, something I am still sad about because I loved when Bendis wrote those two together in New Avengers.
Reading Runaways #1 (Vol 1) is dangerous if you don't have immediate access to the next 11 issues.
I've never read it, but X-Treme X-Men sounds like it could be one of those so-bad-it's-good comics.
It's FREE. I'll read it because it's free, and if it sucks, I'll delete it. That's the beauty of all of this.
I actually have read the first 12 issues of Runaways.
For me, this is about having a whole bunch of stuff I can instantly download on my phone to read during commutes or during those random times when you find you're waiting around alone somewhere for one reason or another.

Actually, I really liked the Deadly Hands of Kung-Fu tie-in, but I'd probably like anything that gave me more Shang-Chi and Iron Fist.
