For those of you who doubt that Mario Lemieux can still perform, I saw him this morning when I went to watch Penguins training camp. The only thing I can really say is that he seems to have his old form back. He was humiliating the goalies. It was beautiful.

Marty doesn't need surgery. This is a great day. I almost feel like I can say, I don't care that the Steelers lost. Again.

I would think that most of the goalies in the Penguins farm system would be pretty humiliating to start with.... :)

Great to know he will be back whining about clutching and getting injured again..

He was healthy at the start of last year's season too. I don't think he will make it to the end of the new one.

If he does stay healthy. He could make Alex Daigle one hell of a hockey player!

Actually, he wasn't. That was part of the problem. And if Bettman can realize theres a problem with clutching and grabbing, maybe you should too.

New response

Actually, Daigle looked pretty good too, or at least no worse than he looked when last he left the scene. And frankly, that was ok, though certainly not worth the salary Ottawa gave him.

ATLANTA -- Eric Lindros will undergo surgery on his right shoulder, Rangers GM Glen Sather announced Tuesday, ending his season and likely his career as a New York Ranger.
