Spring break is next week which meant midterms this week, so I was late sitting down to watch this weeks episode. And less than halfway through the show, I turned it off and won't be watching the rest of it.

Willie Mack vs Marty the Moth was a decent match, the highlight of which was probably Moth getting some massive air on an over the top rope dive. The end came when the lights went out and Marty's sister Mariposa made her debut, terrorizing Sexy Star who was at ringside at Mack's request. Mariposa (Spanish for "butterfly") is played by Cheerleader Melissa, so I'm excited to see her future matches.

We then see Drago attempt to jump Jack Evans in the toilet but he's intercepted by PJ Black. A 3 way nunchaku battle ensues with the two heels getting the best of the half-dragon, until Aerostar breaks it up, saving his rival from last season. In short, three men (one of which is half-dragon) got into a fight with nunchucks and it was broken up by a time traveler. And it came off as more believable than 99% of what WWE is doing today.

The next match was supposed to be Cage vs Johnny Mundo in a No DQ match, but Taya came out in Mundo's place and said it was her turn to kick Cage's ass. The match pretty much went as expected when a 6'5" 290lb man is fighting a 5'8", 150lb female. Cage beat the shit out of her, then Taya punched in in the balls and got in a bit of offense, then Cage came back and brutalized her, including one particularly painful looking spot where he threw her powerbomb style into the ringpost and she slid down and landed ass first on the corner of the steps.

After Cage suplexed Taya out of the ring, through two tables, Mundo finally ran in to try to save her. After cracking Cage with the lead pipe, he pulled Taya on top and then pushed on her for the pin but Cage managed to kick out. Mundo then pulled a cinder block and a bunch of beer bottles into the ring and wanted to piledrive Cage on them but Cage powered out and hit an Alabama Slam. Mundo then broke two bottles over Cage's head, which Cage completely no sold, at which point Mundo ran away. Cage then Weapon Xed Taya face first into the broken glass, at which point I turned it off because this is fucking stupid and I have much better things to do with my life.

I'm sure Mils Muertes vs Prince Puma vs Pentagon Jr is going to be an awesome match, but I won't see it. Just like I still haven't seen the end of the Muertes vs Fenix match where Fenix got thrown through the roof of the storage room because I quit watching halfway through the match (due to unprotected chair shots to the head) and refuse to watch the rest of it. (At least this is better than when the Dudleys powerbombed Christian through a glass table. I refused to watch TNA for over a year after that.)

You should of stuck around from the main event. In defense of the Cage v. Taya match it was a good match, just the wrong person was in it. If you are gonna have someone get killed by Cage it should of been Mundo. Taya getting karmic justice from cage should have been delayed and it should not have been in a squash match.

She is half his size, which works fine when it's heel against face with your face underdog against your heel monster. That's why Ivelesse versus Mil worked so well cause Ivelesse was the lovable underdog versus the destructive evil giant champion. This match got the roles reversed with the arrogant heel getting comeuppance from the cheered on monster except that it's a much smaller woman getting destroyed by a guy twice her size, but the big ass dude is being hailed as a hero for doing it.

I know we live in a society where gender lines are getting blurred in America as well some wrestling programs, but this was not booked smartly. The heel/face dynamic was fucked up in this match, at least cage should of held back a bit instead of immediately trying to take her head off and put her through a table. It makes Mundo look like a piece of shit for not helping out his new buddy until the last second, Taya looks weak and inconsequential to the angle, and Cage looks like an even BIGGER pile of shit for trying to murder a woman who was barely a threat to him.

At least they could have had Taya break out the weapons and tables the whole match until Mundo came out and then Cage could of Hulked Up on them both. Show some restraint before the rage seeing as how he's a face and all now.

If LU's ratings have been falling this season that match is really gonna sink it further.

Cole: "Yeah, thanks to Kane. You should buy Kane a Rolex watch for what he did for you."
Rollins: "Oh don't be silly, Kane doesn't wear watches."

Well, as usual let me take the unpopular opinion that this sounds fine. Yes, violence against defenseless women is wrong. However, she is a wrestler, she is getting paid to do this and it fits with the storyline. Granted, it might have gotten a bit out of hand with the glass part, but I take the opinion, you want equal wrestling rights, you have to take an equal bump.

I am tired of the 100 lb girl who can beat up 250 lb guys storyline. I am seeing that a lot in Indy wrestling. We have seen in it WWE with DDP/Sarah or Lita/Dreamer. Granted, Lita is a way better wrestler than Sarah, it still seems weird. So, the one time, a heel girl gets her head knocked off, we are suppose to turn off the tv? No. Honestly, I want to see this match which maybe the point. To do something so controversial to make you go out of your way to see the match. However, this is the only place where I have seen outcry. The triple threat main event sounded amazing and probably drowned out any disgust over the match. The thing is, people want Steph to take bumps again and what she is saying on the mich, she should. In WWE, she probably never will until Mania where the only way to get Reigns over is to spear Steph. LU seems to think if we are paying and you want to be a wrestler, you might have to do a match like this. Which if Cage was a woman and doing to this Taya, we may think nothing of it. Because the gender issues which LU doesn't seem to give a shit about then its a big deal.

I would have a bigger problem if she was a face and this happened to her or if this was an out of the blue match.

The fact that she's a woman had nothing to do with my opinion. You might have noted where I've had the same reaction to matches that involved only men.

I recently saw the match. She really doesn't go into the glass. I don't think she even bleeds. Cage takes a shot with the beer glass that looks worse than anything else. I understand that there are certain things make us wince, but I don't know if turning off my TV for this would be one of them. I was kinda shocked how much taller, Taya was than Cage.

Thanks... I was beginning to wonder if the IWC was growing tired of Angle/Benoit. The blowoff one day will have to be an Ironman Match. One can only hope. Also, black shirt and suit on O'Haire with red tie = Devil's Advocate...
