Has anybody else listened to the most recent "Official Lost" podcast from ABC?
It has a good long Q&A session with some of the writers and cast. Lots of stuff is hinted at for Season 3, and a few things are thrown out about Seasons 1 and 2 as well. Fairly entertaining overall. I've been trying to find a written review of it so that I dont have to list all the important plot related stuff myself, but no luck yet.
Anyway, check it out on iTunes in the podcast section, or I'd bet there's someway to get it from ABC.com.

While I agree that was pretty dumb it was also funny -- I was laughing to myself while listening to it.
Also the person (Rachael Blake) ties into the Lost Experience stuff that has been going on all summer. So it's not just some random ocurrance they decided to have, but rather a reference to the other side of the Lost mythology which hasn't yet been seen on the TV show.
