While I approve of the exodus from EZboard, I have to say that this new message board looks like hell under Lynx. This probably has something to do with using HTML tags to acheive layout results. If so, then I recommend using style sheets for that and keeping the actual HTML as simple as possible. I haven't actually looked at the page source so I don't have any specific recommendations.
I'll spare you the obligatory comments about valid HTML. You can click on my signature if you're interested in that.
It works great, though posting messages is kind of tedious when all you have to work with are a handful of buttons. And sometimes you'll end up in a WWI-era dogfighting game. Check out lynx.browser.org for details. You'll need a soldering iron.
While I (meekly and weakly) attempt to keep [slash] as lynx-friendly as possible, you're pretty much out of luck when it comes to the message board. ;-)
For what it's worth, you do a good job with the main site (in terms of Lynx friendliness). I'm not overly concerned, and I usually don't complain about this sort of thing (anymore) but I figured it might be worth a shot given the "LYNX RULZ" text and generally-good HTML practices that you show.
Hate to plug a product that isn't done yet, but as I'm about as anal as any UNIX guy when it comes to Lynx-friendliness, the board I'm working on (which, if I do things right, should be able to migrate tables over and be a drop in replacement for this ACMLM board) should be perfectly useable in Lynx... And to top it off, it should be all pretty and stuff in the latest and greatest from KDE, Opera, MS, and Mozilla (thanks to some friends in the design community making skins and such).
At least... This is the plan.
You wieners will likely be the first (un)willing beta testers, if I can convince Zim++ to use it.

People who say that suicide is never the answer just haven't been asking the right questions.
Speaking of Opera, today I installed it on my computer and uninstalled Windows IE. Big mistake. The removal corrupted my .dll files and I had to reinstall WinME.
If I see Bill Gates, I plan to give him 99,999 Needles...in his face or crotch.
also... acmlmboard 1.8 will be released soon(ish)... I talk to acmlm more than daily about the board, and try and help as much as i can with tracking down things to fix/change...
although 1.8 will fix a lot of bugs from 1.65... it still looks the same in lynx...
i'll mention to him though, to try and make 1.8 easier to navigate/use in lynx...
As per tradition, I see we all have Tibetan flags today. Per Wikipedia, March 28 is the date the People's Republic of China dissolved the government of Tibet (or from the PRC's perspective, "emancipated the serfs of Tibet").
