First of all, in the past couple of seasons, I've been more hooked on this show than the original L&O.
Last night's episode...wow. I really don't know what to say. You know, the sale of organs on the black market is not something I think about a lot, and I never thought I'd ever be weighing the pros and cons of its legality, but this episode really shook me up. So depressing and dark. Marlee Matlin is the greatest actress ever.

No, she's better than that, and far more beautiful. One day she's going to run off and marry me, too, even if she does turn 40 in August.
That said, this season I've also enjoyed SVU more than the flagship, even if last night's two eps left me a little underwhelmed. I enjoyed seeing Munch actually have something to do for once, but other than that I wasn't particularly dragged into it, especially in the second hour. It just didn't match up to some of the season's better offerings, such as the he-said she-said from the fall where we fade out before the jury's verdict since it really doesn't matter; we have to make up our own minds.
I don't remember a white flash during the Bram attack, but another notable white flash is when Juliet and Kate encountered the Monster back in Season 3.
