Everything seems to be going good for the Habs now. Arguably the best goalie in the league right now. One more win and they clinch a play-off spot. And it looks like their captain is finally returning. I just hope he is 100% because he is injury prone during the best of seasons.
Regardless I'm happy he beat his cancer and is recovered.

Apparently the only one who likes the new belt.

As much as I hate the Habs for knocking out my Rangers - and as much as I need Lalime to pitch a shutout for my fantasy league team - I can only say -

Well, they said that Koivu is expected to only play about 6-8 minutes a night, mostly on pwer plays, with a few days off in between. But, damn, his just getting on the ice is quite possibly the most amazing thing ever. As a lifelong Bruins fan, even I have to root for the Canadians now...

Truly a great night to be a Habs fan. Koivu returns, and finally returning to the playoffs.
And could be facing arch-nemesis Bruins at that.

Apparently the only one who likes the new belt.

I don't appreciate the Habs knocking the Caps out of contention, but man, what a great run. The Caps put huge pressure on them, but the Habs answered tit for tat--very impressive. I would be a very very nervous 1 seed.

Bruins-Habs in the first round????

All is right in the universe.

HOCKEY TRADITION~

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling towards you. You reach down and flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over. But it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping.

Actually the Caps can still make the playoffs...they can still catch Carolina for 3rd (TRY and make sense out of that)...they've been knocked out of 8th, but not 3rd. :P

With the Eastern conference set up as it is now, I honestly think any team could come out of the East.

There should be a couple of upsets in the first round.

i wasn't referring to osgood's smiling being related to the isles situation. i was talking about how he always got blamed, was considered the wings weak link, and that after acquiring hasek, detroit's goaltending would no longer be in question.
