A Nuggets-record crowd of 19,739 started booing Bryant during the introductions and continued every time he touched the ball. A chant of "Guilty! Guilty!" rang out midway through the third quarter, and several fans made sexual references throughout the game.
Question for the crowd: I know this is Colorado and with the case and all this is to be expected - but this was in DENVER and this was basically the biggest "heel heat" he's gotten so far. What's going to happen next month when they play the Sixers at the FU (screw Wachovia) Center? These are the same folks that booed him out the building during the ALL-STAR GAME. I have a feeling Philly might be topping Denver with the Kobe Hate.
C.M. is the MAN. I know y'all hated losing him, but I think he was the greatest AD in the world. He always seemed to carry himself in the greatest manner and (at least to me) seemed beyond reroach with regards to ethics. C.M.
