Is anybody watching this show? Donal Logue is hilarious, as is just about every cast member.
Gist of the show is a janitor who has dreams of being rich, gets a bunch of buddies together to form a group called the Knights of Prosperity. Their sole mission is to rob Mick Jagger and make millions of dollars.
Sounds like a lame concept but trying to get an inside man with the security at his building, taking self defense classes, etc, make for some great comedy.
I love this program. Donal Logue is great as per usual, as are the rest of the cast, but you know who should be in the gang? Uncle Eddie from Grounded for Life.
I haven't seen two new shows as good at the gate as this and 30 Rock come along at the same time in some while.
Knights Of Prosperity Pretty Much Canceled By Kristin Veitch Today at 2:16 am
Poor Donal Logue. Oh, how I dig him, but he just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to TV projects lately, and his latest ABC project, Knights of Prosperity--about a gang trying to rob Mick Jagger--is apparently no exception.
Sources tell me that ABC told Knights' writing staff today that the comedy would not be picked up for the "back nine" episodes, which basically means they're planning to shut it down after the current 13-episode commitment.
ABC is not officially uttering a peep about the c-word (that's "cancellation," you dirty birdies!), and simply announcing a time-slot swap with According to Jim. But the writing has been on the wall the past two weeks, as American Idol sucked up viewership from everywhere in the universe, and slashed Knights' audience in half (down to about 3 million viewers).
I dont know why other networks think they CAN compete with AI in any way, shape or form. Just be happy with the 3 million viewers, let the show run, and when AI is off the air, reshow them all to get more fans involved.
Maybe it's just me, but I cought the first episode and didn't think much of it. I thought the comedy fell a little flat, and although Logue and Maz Jobrani do a good job, I thought the other actors were pretty poor.

Sorry this is so late, but I got distracted by thinking about D&D. A Half-Elf would make a good Valorous Bard, in case you wondered. Then I got screwed up because titantv.com changed their settings, and my lineup wasn't saved properly.
